It’s International Women’s Day and to celebrate, we’re highlighting one of our favorite woman-owned brands, LEUNE!
LEUNE is a California-born lifestyle brand forged on the principle of transcending the narrative of cannabis culture. Honoring a 3.0 consumer who knows that ‘getting high’ only begins to tell the story of what the plant truly represents. Through high aesthetic and uncompromising quality standards, LEUNE aims to create new ideals for the industry. LEUNE is proudly owned and operated by a WOC.
This International Women’s Day, LEUNE wants to celebrate the flowering plant herself.
Did you know, it’s the Female Cannabis plant that produces the flowers we all know and love?
In true Feminine Fashion, Cannabis brings to mind comfort, healing and creativity. She illuminates the fight for justice, and creates spaces for resistance and rest. The industry she inspires has been resilient and blossomed during challenging times, providing a livelihood for so many workers & safe access to the beautiful plant and all that she offers to an increasing number of consumers. We are truly grateful to work in this incredible space and be held and supported by this powerful female plant.
Yet, while the plant is a shining example of female empowerment, only a small percentage of cannabis companies are woman-owned.
In solidarity with International Women’s Day, please #ChooseToChallenge this inequality in the industry we love by supporting female-owned brands with your dollar. We encourage consumers to know whom they’re buying from and why. International Women’s Day is a call to action to rise together. Not only do we celebrate this amazing plant but also the uniqueness and value of all women. We will never stop fighting for equality and justice — today and always.
LEUNE sources it’s flower from heritage farms and veteran-owned oil manufacturers, ensuring and surpassing industry standards, delivering the highest quality products to its consumers.
LEUNE proudly supports the Floret Coalition, Eaze Momentum, and the Last Prisoner Project.
